WHO WE ARE

Girl Crush Films was founded when five industry changemakers got together on a Tequila Tuesday…or Wednesday…or Friday…and recognized their collective artistic experiences were plagued by a similar moral issue: gender parity. So they decided to do something about it. Combining their 30+ years onstage and on set as producers, directors, administrators, and actors in the TV/Film, Broadway, and Commercial industries, GCF has a penchant for stories that push buttons and boundaries, developed in an environment where women are sitting at the heads of the table and where greater equity and inclusion will be the most impactful.

The GCF Mission

Girl Crush Films was formed with a deep respect not only for the art itself, but for the environment in which art gets made, where all genders and backgrounds are seen, heard, and valued. Every GCF project has at least 50% women in our creative and crew (this includes trans, nonbinary, women of color, women with disabilities and all other marginalized genders), with a portion of the proceeds going to organizations committed to eliminating the gender gap entirely.

We’ve all got crushes on each other.

The GCF alchemy is real. Each teammate brings a unique skill set and powerful POV to the party-that’s what makes Girl Crush Films so awesome.
